Dr Bonnie has been a Medical Doctor for over 25 years.

Together with Nita McHugh RN, Dr Bonnie also runs educational workshops for established clinicians aiming to progress their technique and knowledge within the non-surgical cosmetic industry. These weekend courses are designed to facilitate the advanced skills and confidence required to deliver safe, bespoke treatments in today’s evolving aesthetic industry.

Nita McHugh RN is a gifted master aesthetic nurse specialist. During her 30 year career she has treated thousands of patients. Artistic and creative in nature, Nita is determined to understand her patient’s goals and designs treatment plans to achieve the best results. Whether it’s a one time procedure or a series of procedures over time, Nita’s achieves a balanced, natural looking appearance while minimising discomfort and downtime
In recognition of her years of experience, technical skills and knowledge, Nita is in high demand as a teacher having mentored and trained other nurses, cosmetic physicians and plastic surgeons in the finer points of non surgical cosmetic procedures. She believes in natural restoration and enhancement and approaches her work in a collaborative manner, using a wide variety of modalities

Alongside Dr Bonnie, Nita co-manages Australian Advanced Aesthetics, focussing on enhancing technical competence, collaborative consultations and ethical business growth for experienced practitioners.

Kristen Judith Baihn is an experienced Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife with over 35 years of clinical practice across acute, community, primary care and specialist nursing. With a career grounded in critical care, paediatrics, Women’s Health and complex clinical assessment, she brings an exceptional depth of knowledge, precision and safety to her work in cosmetic and aesthetic nursing.
Kristen’s approach to cosmetic injectables is centered on natural, balanced outcomes that enhance each patient’s unique features. Her extensive experience in emergency care, palliative care, midwifery and family health has shaped her meticulous clinical judgement, gentle technique and calm, reassuring manner.
She is highly skilled in patient assessment, anatomy,
infection control, cannulation, and safe medication
administration—providing a strong clinical foundation for advanced injectable practice.
Having worked in multidisciplinary teams across hospitals, specialist programs and general practice settings, Kristen combines medical expertise with a deeply patient centered philosophy. She believes aesthetic medicine should prioritise holistic wellbeing, confidence and subtle, age appropriate rejuvenation.
As a Lactation Consultant, child and family health nurse and longstanding community clinician, Kristen brings a warm, supportive communication style that helps patients feel informed and empowered throughout their treatment journey. Her commitment to ongoing education and evidence based care ensures every cosmetic procedure is delivered with precision, safety and integrity.
Kristen now blends her comprehensive clinical background with a passion for skin health and aesthetic medicine, offering thoughtfully tailored injectable treatments that focus on enhancing natural beauty at every life stage.
Christine
Dermal Therapist
Many of our long term clients will know Christine from when New Leaf was only recently established. She helped build customer loyalty and trust from the early days with her approachable smile, caring nature and clinical expertise.
Christine has spent some time away from the clinic to be closer to her family and develop some of her other passions. Nonetheless, we are grateful that she continues to support us on a monthly basis (on average) to maintain the relationship with established clients, as well as those new to the clinic, to optimise the skin journey for each person in a professional and bespoke manner.

Christine has considerable experience in all aspects of Dermal Therapy, alongside supporting our medical and nursing team in the delivery of precise and supportive care. She expertly utilizes our array of Laser devices (except those that are 'doctor only') alongside other skin based therapies (except waxing).
